Black Friday!

So today is the day for all the big sales, but you won't find me anywhere near a mall! It's just way too crazy out there. I have been wondering where the term Black Friday comes from though. Why isn't it called Happy Friday or Woo Hoo Shopping Friday if has to do with shopping and getting great deals? I looked it up and found out that the term was first used in Philadelphia to describe the traffic situation on that day. You can read more about the origin of the term here. I suggest staying at home and doing some nice stress free online shopping. No parking problems. No crowds. There are some great Black Friday sales on Etsy!
