Sign 'o the Times Baby!

Today was our last Baby Signs class at Gymboree. My daughter and I have been going for 9 weeks. I highly recommend it! She had so much fun and she knows at least 15 signs. Many people who do not agree with it say that it delays speech. We have not found this to be the case as she says several words as well. If she sees something and doesn't know how to say the word, then she does the sign and I know she knows what it is. It helps me to know how much she understands and identifies and it also helps us communicate, as she can tell me when she wants a drink, is hungry, or wants her blanket.
